Bike Couriers Delivered News of Pearl Harbor in 1941

It were bike messengers that spread the news of the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941 the first from the White House.

"The toughest job I had was being a bike messenger in New York City,” Jen recalled. “I was 19. [My lowest moment was] probably driving into a door that opened. I’m very uncoordinated and extraordinarily klutzy.”
